Homes Under The Hammer presenters 2019: Who hosts Homes Under The Hammer?

Homes Under the Hammer 2019 is back for its 16th year on BBC  One. The show first aired in 2003 and there have been more than 1,200 episodes of the property show. Homes Under The Hammer follows members of the public who purchase properties at an auction, many of which often require refurbishment. At the end of the makeover, the property buyers find out the new value of their home. You can catch Homes Under the Hammer every weekday at 10am on BBC One.

Who hosts Homes Under the Hammer?

This year, there are three hosts of Homes Under the Hammer on BBC One.

Martin Roberts has hosted the show since it first aired in 2003 and is back for another year of presenting duties.

Dion Dublin joined the line up in 2015 and is back for the 21st season of Homes Under the Hammer.

This year there is a brand new addition to the presenting line-up, with Martel Maxwell joining the program to replace Homes Under the Hammer veteran host Lucy Alexander.

Lucy Alexander left the show last year, after officially announcing she would be stepping down in July 2016 to pursue other opportunities.

However, she exclusively told Express.co.uk that making a comeback on the show isn’t out of the question.

When asked whether she would go back to the show, Lucy replied: “I would never say never.

“Let’s see what happens in the future. I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss it. It was a lot of hard work for a lot of years.”

Martin Roberts

Martin Roberts is an English television presenter and property expert.

Roberts is the longest-serving presenter of Homes Under the Hammer, having presented the show since it first aired on our screens in 2003.

He also hosts his own Talk Radio show called ‘Home Rule with Martin Roberts’.

Roberts first got involved in property in the 1990s as a property developer.

He then pursued a career in television presenting, hosting the shows Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, How to Survive the Property Crisis and Wish You Were Here…?

Roberts has also appeared in many television series including Celebrity Masterchef and I’m A Celebrity…Get me Out of Here! in 2016, coming in sixth place.

Dion Dublin

Dion Dublin is a former England and Manchester United football player.

In his football career, he was capped four times for England and played for Manchester United, Coventry City, Millwall, Aston Villa, Leicester City and Celtic.

Dublin retired from his football career in 2008 and joined Homes Under the Hammer in 2015.

He also has worked as a pundit for Sky Sports and appears on Ford Super Sunday.

Dublin has also commentated a number of football games, including the UEFA Champions League.

Martel Maxwell

Martel Maxwell is a Scottish television and radio presenter.

She is also an author and journalist, with a degree in Law from Edinburgh University.

Maxwell has previously hosted segments on The One Show and ITV’s Lorraine and has also appeared on Sky News andThis Morning as an Entertainment correspondent.

Maxwell also had her own radio show on Talk107 and was a stand inf or Fred MacAulay on BBC Radio Scotland.

Speaking about joining the show, Maxwell said: “I’m so excited to be joining the Homes Under The Hammer team.

“Property runs through my family, from plastering to building homes through the generations. It’s in my blood. I can’t wait to get started alongside Martin and Dion.”
