Hollyoaks spoilers: Devastated James tries to kill himself after boyfriend Harry's body is found

JAMES Nightingale is going to want to take his own life when boyfriend Harry Thompson's body is found in Hollyoaks.

The scheming solicitor – who is played by actor Gregory Finnegan in the Channel 4 soap – previously thought Harry had abandoned him for a new life outside the village after fleeing to avoid prison for running over Grace Black.

Viewers know Harry was in fact murdered by serial killer Breda McQueen when she judged him for leaving his new baby for a life on the run.

He was set up by Mercedes McQueen for running over Grace to cover her own tracks.

But now Harry's body is set to be found when Breda allows her captive Tony to visit his son's final resting place and he makes it so the body is discovered.

The news of Harry's death sends James reeling.

At first he starts drinking heavily and tries to bury his feelings in hedonism by going out and inviting a load of men around for an after party.

But when Marnie hears the commotion and throws the men out and begs James to deal with his feelings, things take a turn for the worse.

Still struggling to cope after a chat with Diane about how their lives have fallen apart without Harry or Tony around, James falls into a depression.

He finds himself stood atop the village walls in the pouring rain intending to take his own life.

His devastated son Romeo and mum Marnie scream for him to come down and get help in the harrowing and dramatic scenes.
