The actress played Michaela McQueen for four years but left following a bust up with the show’s producers.
Fans of the show will remember when Hollie-Jay played troublesome Michaela as having punky-style bright-pink hair.
But the star has now ditched the colourful locks for sleek platinum tresses.
The 30-year-old, who left Hollyoaks in 2010, regularly posts photos to her Instagram page of her updated appearance and cute dogs, Neil and Isaac.
Still sporting a quirky style, Hollie looks confident and happy in her photos which show off her enviable figure and range of tattoos.
Hollie-Jay was the first member of the infamous McQueen family to be introduced to the soap back in 2006.
After four successful years, she got into trouble with show bosses and was speedily written out of the show.
The on-screen trouble maker was apparently cross at being written out of the show’s spin-off series, Hollyoaks Later, and immediately announced on Twitter she was set to leave.
She wrote: “This past 4 years have been incredible but I think its time to find myself again! I'm officially leaving hollyoaks in the next 6 months!x (sic)"
Programme bosses, however, were so enraged by her behaviour that they asked story writers to bring her time with the show to an abrupt and early end.
Hollie-Jay is still working as an actress and is currently starring in MYDIDAE by BAFTA-winning playwright Jack Thorne.
The play is being performed at Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester and Hollie-Jay has received rave reviews for her part as Marian in the chilling drama.
