The evil character killed his own son Adam earlier this year when he found out he was informing the police about his movements.
In tonight's first look E4 episode, Maxine Minniver and her pals were desperate for him to confess to his crimes.
After they scrawled 'Glenn killed his son' across the Hollyoaks High School sign on it's opening day, Maxine took Glenn home to get the words out of him.
Setting her phone to record, Glenn admitted he had killed Adam as he was a "grass".
He said: "I'm so sorry, Adam gave me no choice, it was either him or me."
Maxine sobbed, saying she had had to identify his body and she had seen what he'd done to his own flesh and blood.
But after he revealed everything, Glenn clocked the phone, and realised she was recording him.
Turning on her, he said: "That was your plan was it? Because you know, I can't allow that to happen."
With a menacing look in his eye, Maxine backed into the corner of the kitchen, sobbing.
Grabbing an ornament off the side table, he said: "You know what I do to dirty grasses."
But before he could even lift it to hit her, he suddenly shut his eyes and fell to the floor.
The shock ending left viewers desperate to know what had happened.
One wrote on Twitter: "WHAT THE? did he just decide he was tired?"
Another tweeted: "Did he just faint?" while a third asked: "is Glenn dead??"
A fourth added: "OMG has Glenn just died as he was trying to kill Maxine??"
Another viewer had different theory, with one wondering if his supposed brain aneurysm was actually real and had caused the collapse.
They wrote: "Glenn brain aneurysm has burst just as he was about to kill Maxine too".
