HELEN Flanagan has revealed the real reason she was forced to quit ITV's Coronation Street.
The actress, who last appeared as Rosie Webster in 2018 after playing her on and off since 2000, said juggling a career and motherhood is hard after splitting from her ex fiance Scott Sinclair.
Helen – who shares Matilda, eight, Delilah, five and Charlie, two, with ex fiancé of 13 years Scott – said being a single parent leaves her with very little time for herself.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Helen said: "I would honestly love love love to go back [to Corrie] so much but I’m just so busy with the children, so I’ve got an eight year old, five year old and a two year old and because me and their daddy has separated and he lives five hours away with his work, it’s quite difficult with the balance."
Helen, 33, raised hopes that she'd return to Corrie earlier this year.
However her co-parenting arrangements have mean that is unlikely to happen, with Scott working away in Bath.

She continued: "I’d love to go back to Coronation Street but the hours are really long, no one thinks this but sometimes you can leave the house at five o’clock in the morning and you won’t get home until 9 o’clock at night.
"So Matilda is very sensitive and she loves her daddy, and she misses him when he’s away.
"I just kind of think of it, for me, when you’re a mum you have to put your children first, and I would love to go back but I think right now it wouldn’t be fair on them."
It comes after Helen hit out at mum shaming trolls after being viciously attacked on social media over her sexy snaps.
