GOGGLEBOX is the hilariously quirky reality TV show airing on Channel 4. The 15th series of the show starts tonight (February 21) and will include our favourite families. Actress Anna Kendrick, who has starred in Pitch Perfect, Camp and Into the Woods, revealed on The Graham Norton Show she had met one of the families.
One of our favourite families from previous series of Gogglebox is the quintessentially British Steph and Dom Parker.
Actress Kendrick appeared on The Graham Norton Show and spoke to him about the British accent.
She said: “I was checking into a hotel and somebody came out and said, ‘Oh, do you need help with your bags?’
“And I thought they were doing a bit [an acting role].” She then impersonates the hotel owner’s voice by putting on a posh British accent.

She said: “And then they kept talking like that so I had to slowly transition out of it.
“Then I was back in the country several years later and they were on TV on Gogglebox, because it was Steph and Dom from Gogglebox.
“So they actually talk like that.” Host Norton went on to say he never knew it was a real hotel the couple feature in throughout the series.
Steph and Dom Parker rose to fame when they first appeared on Gogglebox back in 2013.
They were well-loved for being the couple who enjoyed a glass of wine in the evenings and being close friends.
The name of the hotel they both ran together is The Salutation in Sandwich, Kent, and fans were in awe of the beautiful interior.
The couple actually sold the hotel in December 2016 and they said it had been a tough journey building up the business.
They went on to run a Channel 4 series called The Great Hotel Escape, which sees the couple go behind the scenes following families running historic hotels.

The Salutation Hotel still has a website but the hotel itself is advertised as being closed, so unfortunately fans of the beautiful building can no longer stay there.
The site includes the main house, a coach house and a gardener’s cottage, all of which are stunning pieces of architecture.
Although viewers can no longer book a trip to the hotel, they can still catch a peek of the rooms on the website.
Steph told The Sun: “In the end it was too stressful to run the hotel with our other commitments. We’ve moved out and handed the running of it to a management company. We live elsewhere in Sandwich.”

Steph and Dom quit Gogglebox in 2016 after three years on the show, saying they wanted to give other people a chance to have their say.
They also featured in a show called One Star to Five Star on Channel 4 and took part in Stand Up To Cancer’s Celebrity Hunted.
Although they are a family from the past they are still talked about by fans, who are looking forward to the new series starting.
The 15th series includes friends Jenny and Lee, husband and wife Giles and Mary, and Bristolian grannies Mary and Marina.
The new series of Gogglebox airs tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm
