Another original Gogglebox star has left the Channel 4 show, as Amy Tapper has revealed that she won’t be returning for another series.
Amy is due to appear on the newest series of Celebs Go Dating, and when she was asked by The Mirror if she would take any potential love interests onto the show that made her famous, she said that wouldn’t happen because she isn’t going back herself.
Beyond that, she’s “not really sure” if her family will return.
Amy explained: “I’m personally not going back on Gogglebox. They can go on but they wont be with me.”
The Tapper family are reportedly on a break from the show, while Josh left the programme last year after he secured a prestigious apprenticeship at 10 Downing Street.
Earlier this year, he said: “The option to go back is always there but I want to move away from that and the focus is now very much on my job.
“Of course, I miss it and the sitting on the couch watching TV. But I am more focused on my future… it’s a more a secure path.”
Celebs Go Dating is due to return to E4 soon, and it will be interesting to see how the behind-the-scenes drama plays out on screen.
Before filming began, Eden Blackman departed the show, while Nadia Essex was suspended after she created fake Twitter accounts to tweet about cheating allegations levelled against Blackman.
