GEORDIE Shore's 10th anniversary series has been thrown into chaos with the cast up in arms over a mandatory quarantine stay.
The Sun can reveal the stars are threatening to quit rather than isolate for 20 days to film the MTV series in Colombia.
With the UK's new quarantine laws they'll have to hunker down for ten days when they arrive in South America, and ten days in a hotel in the UK when they land home.
A source told The Sun: "It's caused utter chaos and the cast have all kicked off – some are threatening to quit over it.
"The thing is, it's added almost a month onto the job and while it will be fun to film, it means some of them have had to cancel important jobs and won't be able to see their boyfriends and girlfriends for an extra two weeks after being away for filming.
"Everyone wants to make the series happen but it's a nightmare with all the new rules and keeping everyone safe."
MTV didn't reply to a request for comment.
In December, The Sun revealed that the next series of Geordie Shore was swapping Newcastle for Colombia to ensure that the gang can still enjoy their wild nights out while the UK remains in lockdown.
Scotty T is in talks to return to the new series filmed in Colombia, after he was axed from the MTV series in 2018 in a cocaine scandal.
The 32-year-old star was axed from the MTV series in 2018 after he was pictured in a cocaine scandal.
His exit meant that he narrowly missed out on filming with the cast in Australia, but he could be making up for lost time three years later.
The source told us: "Scotty is in talks to return to the show – the UK team and the cast especially would love to have him back but the problem is that MTV's US team are worried about the scandal.
"Scotty is a loose cannon and can't be controlled so they don't want to run into another scandal on one of their biggest series that they show all over the world. But Scotty makes great TV and the cast love him."
Meanwhile, Gaz Beadle has snubbed the 10 year reunion, leaving MTV bosses "fuming".
The dad of two told pals he's "far too busy and got a business to run" to be jetting off to Colombia.
Gaz and Scotty shot to fame alongside Charlotte Crosby, Vicky Pattison, and Holly Hagan in the very first series of Geordie Shore, which premiered in 2011.
