Game Of Thrones fans freak out over ‘weird and uncomfortable’ sex scene in season 8’s second episode

GAME of Thrones is as well known for its steamy sex scenes and nudity as its gory violence and battle scenes.

But it appears as though the raunchy show may have finally taken things too far, as fans are freaking out over the unexpected sex scene in season 8’s second episode.

Arya Stark is shown becoming a woman as she beds her long-term crush, Gendry – King Robert Baratheon’s unacknowledged son – played by Joe Dempsie.

But loyal fans have been left “totally weirded out” by the nude sex scene – because actress Maisie Williams was just 12-years-old when she started on the show.

“Did we really need an Arya sex scene?” one viewer wrote.

Another added: “Totally weirded out by the Arya sex scene. She's like a child we all raised together.”

But for real. The sex scene between Arya and Gendry felt a bit weird. Feels like they rushed the romance too quick #GameOfThrones pic.twitter.com/xrjPSYoyKd

Call me crazy, but it felt so weird watching Arya’s sex scene. Idk but I always see her as my little sister and I was so uncomfortable during that scene #GameofThrones pic.twitter.com/D5NiRUgbk3

Cam tweeted: “Arya and Gendry sex scene was mad weird.”

Jessica Vitillo tweeted: “That Arya sex scene made me so uncomfortable. #Gameofthrones.”

Kate Matrix said: “Good episode but I agree with most- the sex scene with Arya could have been implied or WAY less shown.”

Joey said: “And no one was here for that Arya sex scene……. Smh had to close my eyes at that.”

Fans were even treated to a reunion they “didn’t even know they needed”.

Sansa Stark and Theon Greyjoy’s emotional meeting left many viewers in floods of tears.

In the heartwarming scene, Theon declared: “I want to fight for Winterfell, Lady Sansa, if you'll have me.”

Nick Vargas tweeted: Beautiful reunion between Sansa & Theon. #GameofThrones

Kay Boatner tweeted: “That made me blubber like a baby.”

“And Theon and Sansa?? My fragile heart,” another fan tweeted.
The last time we saw Sansa and Theon together they had just escaped from the evil Ramsay Bolton.

They were on the run to Castle Black with the help of Brienne of Tarth and Podrick.
