Game of Thrones fans were left unimpressed after a waxwork of Daenerys Targaryen was unveiled.
The character, played by actress Emilia Clarke , bore zero resemblance of her and fans were quick to point it out.
The sculpture was created by Dublin's Wax Museum, who had teased their new addition on Instagram earlier this week.
As images of the commission were posted people questioned whether the museum had recycled old sculptures of Legalos from The Lord of the Rings or Lucius Malfoy from Harry Potter.
Others were merciless as they ridiculed the museum's efforts: "It's like they didn't even try to make the wax figure look good."
Another said: "I don't know who this supposed to look like but it's definitely not the mother of dragons."
"oh my god WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER," fumed one.
"Legolas?" another simply asked.
Referring to the HBO show's famous line 'winter is coming', one commenter joked: "Wow winter’s really taken it’s toll!"
“It’s our first wax work this year and we’re delighted to add an extra woman to the museum,” the museum’s head of marketing Laoise Keaveney told Dublin radio station FM104 according to YahooUK .
“Game of Thrones obviously is huge in Ireland and it’s filmed in Ireland and we thought the best thing is to add a woman from Game of Thrones to the museum.
“She stands in our grand hall of fame now.”
The model took artist PJ Heraghty six months to complete and is the first character from the hit show to feature at the museum.
