Junior and Princess appeared on Katie’s social media for the first time in months last week – but insiders tell The Sun Online that they were also filming for her reality show, and their dad had no idea.
“Pete was surprised to hear that as soon as Katie saw the kids, they were on camera and filming for the show,” says the source.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he was furious – it’s the kind of thing that should have been communicated.
“They’ve filmed a lot for the show in the past and that was agreed on but Pete had no idea that they’d be on camera for this recent reunion.”
Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, moved in with Pete and his wife Emily over the summer, after the singer grew concerned about their mum's wild lifestyle.
The former glamour model has faced a turbulent few months as she battles divorce, bankruptcy, and a stint in rehab.
As well as losing custody of Junior and Princess, Katie's two youngest children Jett and Bunny are also thought to have moved in full time with their father, Kieran Hayler.
It was recently revealed My Crazy Life will be returning for a two-part special, and will document her side of the story after getting treatment for PTSD and drug abuse.
It is no wonder Pete was furious by her involvement after their kids, as he revealed he was doing his best to "protect" the teenagers from Katie's antics last month.
Speaking to OK! magazine, he said: "I’m dealing with everything that’s going on at the moment, but I think it’s very important to deal with these things privately and I’m doing so.
"Making sure my kids are protected and away from any negativity is my main priority."
The Sun Online have approached both Katie and Peter's representatives for comment.
