‘Frosty’ Little Mix roll eyes during awkward chat with Jack Whitehall at BRITs

Jack Whitehall’s incredibly awkward interview with Little Mix left BRIT Awards viewers cringing tonight – and the girl band decidedly frosty.

The comedian was as controversial tonight – but things got very cringey as he sat down for a chat with the girls, which left them rolling their eyes.

Sitting down to the band, who looked very uncomfortable, he began by saying: "I love Little Mix, I don’t care who knows, I am a ‘Mixer’."

He then shocked both the band and viewers alike when he addressed Jesy Nelson ans said: "I’ve been instructed not to bring up the Jamaican accent."

And things got even worse when he asked them about "bad blood" between them and ex-boss Simon Cowell.

"Can we bring up exes, when you left Simon Cowell it raised a few eyebrows, obviously not on in his head because there’s too much botox," he quipped. 

Referencing Jesy’s recent kebab shop hookup with Love Island’s Chris Hughes he joked about the girls bumping into the girls at the after-parties or ‘kebab shops’ later – leaving Jesy mortified.

At the end, he added: "Ok this was awkward…"

Celebs began causing drama early on the red carpet with a plethora of outrageous outfits.

Leading the charge was Love Island star Montanta Brown, who turned up in a very skimpy outfit that left very little to the imagination .

The BRITs were also forced to apologise after Lily Allen swore on the red carpet during a live feed.

Lily won an award in 2010 and made a dramatic entrance to the award show, flying in on a glittery rocket, then negotiating a staircase and army-themed dancers.

She said "There were these soldiers that looked like penises", to which Evans even replied "it sounds like a dream I had".

Lily spoke of her trying not to slip on the staircase, saying: "I flew on this rocket. I was s******* myself."
