Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) was recently hit with a shocking truth after successfully tracking down his dad, Graham Foster (Alex McSweeney), in EastEnders.
After keeping it from him for many years, Freddie’s family finally revealed the real reason why his dad’s identity had been kept hidden, and it left him completely devastated.
Kat Slater, Alfie Moon and Billy Mitchell (Jessie Wallace, Shane Richie and Perry Fenwick) had no choice but sit him down and explain everything after Freddie revealed he had met up with Graham.
He was left completely shocked as they revealed that he had been conceived when Graham had raped his mum, Little Mo Slater (Kacey Ainsworth).
Following the bombshell, Freddie left his family terrified when he disappeared. Thinking back to Zoe Slater’s reaction after learning that her dad had raped her mum, Kat was desperate to find him, and even resorted to calling the police.

Meanwhile, Freddie had taken refuge on the roof of the Queen Vic, in a bid to clear his head after the horrific news.
He was soon found by Gina Knight (Francesca Henry), who was keen to offer her support to a clearly struggling Freddie.
Upset, Freddie wondered why Little Mo hadn’t told him the truth, to which Gina pointed out that it had nothing to do with him. She made it clear that what his dad had done wasn’t his fault, and when Freddie expressed his concerns that he may turn out like him, she reminded him that being a rapist isn’t inherited through genes.
As Freddie considered what life may have been like for Little Mo if he ‘hadn’t been forced on her’, Gina pointed out that she sounded like a strong woman, and he should remember that whatever he decided to do next.
Feeling slightly more comforted, Freddie headed home, much to the relief of his family.
Still overwhelmed, he retreated to his room, where he was faced with a message from Graham enthusing about their upcoming dinner together.
After so many years searching for his father, Freddie made the decision to cut him off completely, deleting his number from his phone.
But is this the end for Freddie and Graham, or will he try to be a part of his son’s life, whatever it takes?
