With 2018 winding down, there aren’t too many more films that we’re anxious to see in the calendar year… but there is one that we’ve been not-so-patiently waiting to see for the past TWO YEARS: Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

We know there’s so much to take in from the 2 minutes and 24 seconds worth of footage… but there’s one blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment that we NEED to discuss: the surprise cameo from not one, but TWO Harry Potter actors!!!
At the 1:14 mark, you’ll see a Young Albus Dumbledore holding his hand up to the Mirror of Erised… with a Young Gellert Grindelwald doing the same on the other side. And those two characters are played by none other than Toby Regbo and Jamie Campbell Bower, the originators of the characters in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1:
Of course, Albus Dumbledore is played by Jude Law and Gellert Grindelwald is played by Johnny Depp — and they’re helmed as two of the movie’s leading actors — so we don’t expect Toby and JCB to get much screen time, or even any lines. Heck, as of right now, neither has FB2 on his IMDb page! But we’re glad that the flick’s creators kept true to the OG franchise.
