Fans were left struggling to follow the plot during this week’s episode of ITV’s Hatton Garden due to poor sound quality.
The TV adaptation of the Hatton Garden robbery follows four eldery men as they plot to steal £2million from a safe deposit facility in London’s Hatton Garden.
Featuring an all-star cast, starring Timothy Spall as career criminal Terry Perkins, the show aired its first episode last night to mixed reviews.
However, despite viewers claiming the show’s debut episode was “slow”, many turned in for the next epsiode.
Their dreams were soon dashed as Twitter was flooded with complaints from disgruntled viewers who couldn’t understand what was being said between the characters because of the muffled sound.
One wrote: “Thought Hatton Garden was a tad quiet. That first advert rattled the bloody floorboards…”
A second viewer agreed: “What’s wrong with the sound?”
And a third put: “Hey ITV, any danger of turning Hatton Garden up a bit?
