Emmerdale spoilers tease Liv in Noah rape horror after terrifying booze blackout

Emmerdale fans are set to encounter a troubling storyline next week when Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) begins to believe she might have been raped.

The young character has been struggling with alcohol recently after the van crash which killed Paul, and her split from his son Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson).

Next week though, Emmerdale spoilers reveal things go from bad to worse for Liv after she blacks out.

After almost dying last week when she choked on her own vomit after a booze binge, Liz is still uneasy around drink.

Fellow recovering alcoholic Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) decides to keep her away from temptation.

But soon, Liv starts to feel overwhelmed by brother Aaron (Danny Miller) and Vinny's constant reminders about her sobriety and she breaks down in front of Laurel, who tries her best to advise her.

It's too much for Liv though, and it's not long before she cracks and starts swigging from a can of lager.

Later, Liv wakes up with a start and is full of confusion and regret, covered in bruises and with no idea what happened the previous night.

Aaron returns and explains he found her in the doorway the night before.

Liv struggles with confusing flashbacks, but is left shocked and sickened when she realises it was Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) she'd been struggling with.

Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) is reeling when Liv mentions Noah, uneasy because of her past with him.

She tells Liv that they might be dealing with the aftermath of rape – and Aaron overhears everything.

He storms off to confront Noah.

Back at home, Aaron urges Liv to report what happened to the police, but she's left feeling burdened by the decision she has to make.

Will she report Noah – or will it all be too much for her?

The next day, Noah's mum Charity (Emma Atkins) does some digging to try and see if there's another side to the story.

In recent months, Gabby's path has been intertwined with Noah's because of both of their involvement at Home Farm.

But Noah started getting nasty with Gabby – who is pregnant – which naturally left a bad taste in her mouth.

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays, on ITV
