There are some truly bizarre Emmerdale theories springing up about Aaron Dingle and baby Seb lately. It’s time to take a breath and come down to planet Earth.
It all stems from scenes that aired last Friday, when a new wedge was driven between newlyweds Aaron (Danny Miller) and Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) over Robert’s decision to let baby Seb move away with Ross and Rebecca.
That led to some huge tension between Robron, especially when Robert brought Seb back for a quick visit. When Aaron later disappeared with the child, some people started running wild theories that he would harm or even kill Seb as a means of revenge.
That’s not happening, don’t worry. Emmerdale writer Sharon Marshall admitted on This Morning that’s there is quite literally not a single grain of truth in this bizarre theory.
“There’s really weird rumours online going around because at the end of last night’s episode we saw that Aaron had baby Seb and there were rumours he is going to kill the baby,” she explained.
“No, that’s not happening at all. Baby Seb going has made him [Aaron] realise he wants his own child with Robert. Aaron will broach the idea, saying shall we look at having a child together, but Robert is less keen.”
The writer even joked about this perpetual drama for the couple so soon after their long-awaited wedding storyline.
“Could this be the thing that drives Robron apart?” she teased. “They have been happy for the last two weeks, so let’s throw something at them.”
As fans learned in Tuesday’s episode, Aaron did indeed return baby Seb to Ross and Rebecca although his reckless action could pose a threat to his visitation rights in the future…
