EastEnders newcomer Zara Highway could start to turn against her dad Stuart in the aftermath of Mick’s arrest.
Fans were introduced to Stuart’s daughter Zara (Faye Daveney) last week, when she turned up at the hospital for a tense reunion with her uncle Halfway.
As Zara continues to try and fight for justice, upcoming scenes will her see corroborate Stuart’s claims that Mick was the one who shot him.
With Mick in prison as a result, Stuart (Ricky Champ) has a palpable skip in his step when he’s eventually discharged from hospital next week.
Noticing her dad’s good mood, Zara accuses him of being consumed by hate for the Carters as she starts to see the situation more clearly.
Worried he’s going to lose her, Stuart subsequently heads to The Vic to give the Carters an ultimatum, before later assuring Zara that he’s a changed man.
Determined to make Zara see sense, Linda enlists Halfway’s help to get through to her; hoping to convince her that Stuart is lying.
Despite feeling torn, Zara later pays a visit to Mick and gives him some home truths – imploring him to tell the truth for the sake of Ollie.
But as Zara continues to stand by her dad, could she be starting to doubt Stuart’s story?
EastEnders airs these scenes next week on BBC One.
