Tonight’s (November 6) edition of EastEnders had as many twists as the Thames, but as Hayley’s baby drama continues to play out on screen, it was Linda Carter’s scenes with Stuart Highway that provoked the biggest reaction from viewers.
After previously enraging fans on Twitter with her gullibility, Linda extended her lack of popularity by apparently believing more of Stuart’s evil lies tonight.
Earlier in the episode, Stuart reconciled with Linda in The Vic about how the shooting with Mick Carter had allegedly gone down. While viewers know that Stuart actually shot himself, it appears as though Linda is still under his manipulative spell, but could we all be underestimating her?
As the final scene played out, Stuart texted Linda and thanked her for her support, but Linda took a long time to reply; calculating how to execute her response.
Does this mean that there’s a sneaky ploy from Linda being carried out that we don’t know about? Could Stuart’s reign of manipulation be about to come crashing down?
Either way, you lot on Twitter certainly have an eyebrowraised after tonight’s events.
