EastEnders star Danny Walters has discussed what it’s like to shoot his steamier scenes with co-star Letitia Dean.
Danny, who plays Keanu Taylor, has been involved in a storyline which has seen Sharon Mitchell having an affair behind Phil’s back.
And while the actor admits that it “can be awkward” at times, he praised Letitia for being a “joy to work with”.
“I feel a lot of responsibility for the character to work,” he told BANG Showbiz. “We’ve really had a lot of fun, me and Letitia Dean.
“To have that storyline with anyone in the cast… I’m a lucky guy to work with Letitia because she’s so experienced, she’s such a joy to work with.
“Doing those sort of scenes can be awkward and hard but we’ve had such a fun time doing those scenes. I’ve been lucky to have the opportunity to work with Letitia.”
Danny also had high praise for Steve McFadden (who plays Phil Mitchell).
“Steve is great,” he said. “Every time I work with him I’m learning. I’ve learnt so much just from working with him.
“He comes onto the set knowing what the scene requires so you can’t ever question him.”
