THE truth is slowly catching up with Sam Mitchell and she knows she'll soon have her brother Phil to answer to.
Edging closer to danger, the EastEnders troublemaker comes up with another plan with Zack Hudson – but it could go downhill.
Kim Medcalf's character has had one main goal since reappearing in Walford earlier in 2022 and has remained focused on destroying the Mitchell empire.
This has led her to stage an shooting at local wine bar Peggy's and she was ultimately pushed into bringing Jonah Tyler into her plan, fearing she may be exposed.
But things further got out of hand when her nephew Ben clocked on, spotting one of Jonah's men dealing drugs in Peggy's, and Sam decided to buy his silence by including him in her plan.
However, next week, Ben's addiction spirals out of control again and, gutted, he turns to Tez for drugs.

A concerned Sam watches the exchanges before telling Ben to pull himself together for his well-being and for her own business affairs.
In later scenes, Ben collapses after taking too many drugs and Zack Hudson (played by James Farrar) tells his sister Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) about it all.
Sharon realises he's keeping something from her and, when Phil returns, she tells him the truth.
She makes her long-term foe pay by telling Phil Sam knew about the drugs and has been letting it happen.

Sam is then furious to learn Phil knows about the drugs thanks to Zack and she tries to fire him, but Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) beats her to the punch and has an announcement to make.
Awash with guilt, Zack offers to make it up to Sam but he's left shaken when it's clear she'll stop at nothing to stay on Phil's good side.
