However one Walford bad guy looks set to stir up more trouble for the current inhabitants of the Queen Vic.
Stuart Highway hasn’t finished his reign of terror over the Carter family in EastEnders as they notice some strange occurrences next week and wonder if the psychopath is to blame.
Spurred on by the series of odd goings-on, Halfway is suspicious and heads off to confront his brother. What will Stuart tell him? Was he responsible?
Stuart – played by Ricky Champ in the BBC soap – has been terrorising the family since Tina Carter revealed she was brutally attacked by him 20 years ago.
Mick Carter, Danny Dyer, was horrified to hear how his childhood pal had spiked Tina’s drink when she was a young mum, before stripping her and locking her in the boot of his car.
He then took Tina on a hellish drive before finally stopping and setting fire to tyres near the car, leading her to think she was about to die.
Tina – played by Louisa Bradshaw-White – told Sonia Fowler the horrific truth last month and confessed that she was tied up and gagged in the car and only escaped when a tramp set her free.
Since the truth came out, the Carters have turned their backs on Stuart, with even Halfway disowning him after he discovered his brother had deliberately lied about his girlfriend Whitney Dean trying it on with him in an attempt to split them up.
EastEnders fans have begged for Mick to put an end to sinister Stuart’s terror campaign once and for all after witnessing him viciously scratch out the faces of the Carters and Halfway from photographs.
