EastEnders ‘ Mick Carter will be left fearing for his life next week after being sent to prison on suspicion of shooting Stuart Highway.
Last night’s episode saw Stuart (Ricky Champ) identify his former friend as the culprit who gunned him down at The Vic earlier in the month – leading to Mick’s arrest later this week.
As Mick tries to come to terms with life in jail, he becomes determined to contact Johnny to wish him a happy birthday and asks the prison’s top dog Fraser to get him a burner phone.

Fearsome Fraser demands a favour in return, but Mick soon realises that he’s out of his depth when he discovers the consequences of getting involved with such a dangerous prisoner.
With Fraser continuing to make demands, Mick starts to become increasingly fearful of his inmate, and sadly, the pub landlord’s problems are only just beginning.
Despite being warned by another prisoner to lie low, Mick decides to confront Fraser – before later meeting up with a mysterious woman during visiting hours.
Fans will have to wait and see who the woman is, but Mick is soon warning his wife Linda about her when she makes her own visit to prison – worried about what it could mean.

As Mick’s problems intensify, he’s ultimately forced to follow through with Fraser’s earlier demands when he continues to be tormented.
By the end of the week, Mick is left more terrified than ever when Fraser gives him a dangerous ultimatum, but what is it? And can he find a way to clear his name and get back home before it’s too late?
