EastEnders villain Lewis Butler has undergone an insane transformation for his latest role in a new Netflix series.
The actor behind the controversial character, Aidan O’Callaghan, is almost unrecognisable in his new project, The Witcher: Blood Origin.
The prequel series is set 1,200 years prior to the events of the first Netflix Witcher show and features a star-studded cast including Sophia Brown, Michelle Yeoh and Minnie Driver.

Aidan took to Instagram to give his fans a sneak peek into his incredible transformation as he sat in the make-up chair.
In a video captioned "my morning routine", he showed himself in the makeup chair, with a bald cap and plaster on his face to create a mask.
In the video Aidan, who plays Kareg in the fantasy series, has his hair covered with a bald cap before his entire face is smothered in thick plaster for makeup artists to create a mask.
The transformation took two hours, but the end result was nothing short of extraordinary.
In another post, he left fans swooning as he posed in full gladiator gear, complete with a shield and an axe.
Fans rushed to the comments to gush over the star’s incredible new look.
“OMG Aidan my level of ecstasy is at the limit thank you,” said one fan.
“So proud of you!!! Can’t wait to watch!!,” added a second, while a third stated simply: “Damn!”
But it's not all glitz and glam on set.
Aidan shared a snap of his bloodied and injured face on the set of the fantasy drama, proving that he's putting his all into this new role.
His new character is a far cry from the villainous Lewis Butler, who was hated by EastEnders fans for his actions, including the rape of Ben Mitchell.
Speaking to Digital Spy about the controversial role, Aidan said: "I was aware of the backlash. I was delighted and I was initially disappointed that the spoilers for this story came out so soon as I wanted them on Lewis’ journey for longer.
“I had to make people like Lewis initially. If I could have a magic wand, I would have wanted to have stretched out a bit further, but, in the same breath, it has been fascinating to play that arc so quick and bring everyone on that rollercoaster."
