EastEnders fans got a blast from the past on today’s Good Morning Britain when Cheryl Fergison turned up in the studio.
The actress, who played much-loved character Heather Trott until her untimely death in 2012, looked very different to her time on the soap.
Cheryl, 51, was looking far more glamorous than Hev ever did on Albert Square as she spoke about her transition from screen to stage.
She is starring in Maggie May The Musical in Liverpool, but admitted she would love to star in a rival soap.
Cheryl, who now lives in the north west, teased that she could appear in Emmerdale as a "long lost Dingle".
Speaking on GMB, she said: "You’ve got people with funny bones up there.
"I wouldn’t mind getting in another one of those soaps again. Corrie or Emmerdale. A long lost Dingle."
Cheryl has been out of the soap game for six years after her character was tragically killed off by Ben Mitchell.
Poor Hev was hit over the head with a picture frame while her son George slept in the room next door.
Her last appearance was in March 2012, but she did return in a voice-over in 2012 when Dot discovered an old cassette tape.
With Heather six feet under, Cheryl revealed she doesn’t get invited to the big TV award shows anymore.
Discussing the NTA’s, she said: "I don’t get invited to these things anymore. Can I take your coats?"
*Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am
