EastEnders and Hollyoaks lead shortlist at this year's British Soap Awards

Now in its 21st year, the ceremony will be held on Saturday 1 June and broadcast live from The Lowry Theatre, Manchester for everyone to miss out on none of the festivities.

Phillip Schofield will be returning as host for the evening.

The Outstanding Achievement Awards and The Tony Warren Award will be announced on the night.
