Declan Donnelly jokes about Ant McPartlin 'looking well' as he posts picture posing with Holly Willoughby ahead of I'm a Celebrity return

The presenter addressed Ant's absence as he looked ahead to filming the upcoming reality show Down Under.

He told fans: "Ant’s looking well don’t you think!? I’m joking of course, Holly and I are looking forward to welcoming you to Australia next Sunday night. D."

Ant, 42, has stepped down from this year's series to focus on his recovery, leaving Holly to keep his seat warm as Dec’s jungle co-host.

She spent yesterday with Dec and his wife Ali Astall after touching down in Australia ahead of a month-long stint.

The pair looked relaxed as they spent time together before the launch of I'm A Celebrity on November 18th.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Holly revealed the new presenting partnership have spent the last few weeks building up their chemistry with practice read-throughs.

Holly said: “I’m just getting used to how the scripts run. So it was a script for a fake show.

“There’s just a lot to get my head around. I’ve been doing This Morning for nine years and there’s such a rhythm to it.

“And to suddenly do something that’s already got its own pattern and is already established, it’s going to take a bit of getting used to.”

Nine of this year’s crop of celebrity contestants have been confirmed, including football manager Harry Redknapp, 71, and DIY telly expert Nick Knowles, 56.

Last year, Made in Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo became queen of the jungle after winning over viewers as one of the most popular contestants ever.

But it didn't go quite as well for YouTube star Jack Maynard who was booted out just three days into the show's run when his racist and homophobic slurs online were revealed.
