Curtis and AJ Pritchard cancel their dancing tour after coronavirus warnings – The Sun

CURTIS and AJ Pritchard have been forced to call off the remaining dates of their dance tour after Prime Minister Boris Johnson shut down mass gatherings.

The professional dancers had four more dates on the tour to go – with them now being postponed until further notice.

Announcing the news in a statement on Instagram, they wrote: "This is a message to all of our amazing fans and specifically those who have tickets to our remaining ‘AJ Live’ Tour Dates.

"Given today’s Government advice surrounding the Coronavirus, we are postponing our remaining four shows. Those locations are Guildford (17th March), Cardiff (18th March), Bournemouth (20th March) and Torquay (21st March). To say we are gutted is an understatement.

"We have had the most amazing tour performing for you all. However health and safety must come first for you, for us and our incredible cast."

Curtis, 24, and AJ, 25, added: "We will be announcing the rescheduled tour dates when we can. We love you all and please be safe."

Their decision comes hours after the PM instructed "everyone" in the UK to avoid "non-essential" travel and contact with others to halt the spread of coronavirus.

A further 19 people have died after testing positive for Covid-19, bringing the total number of deaths in England to 55.

Curtis' announcement was no doubt a hard one for the reality star, who recently split from former Love Island flame Maura Higgins after seven months.

Taking to Instagram to announce their separation, Maura, 29, wrote: “Curtis and I have made the decision to separate. We enjoyed a great experience from our time in the villa and want to thank everyone for supporting our relationship.”

She continued: “There is no easy way to get through a breakup and no bad feeling on either side.

“We tried to make it work but it wasn’t to be and I wish Curtis nothing but the best for the future.”

However, their split appeared to take a bitter turn as the pair made thinly-veiled digs at each other online – with Curtis posting a cryptic comment about “telling the truth”.

Meanwhile, Maura had previously lashed out on Twitter writing: “A strong women never gives up on herself, but she may give up on you."
