Coronation Street has confirmed that Kate Connor and Rana Nazir’s relationship will hit the rocks next week.
The popular couple will run into trouble as Rana (Bhavna Limbachia) focuses her efforts on rebuilding a relationship with her mum Saira, leaving Kate out in the cold.
Although Rana has been cut off from most of her family recently, the death of her father Hassan brings them all together again over the next few days.
Rana lied that she’d ended her relationship with Kate in order to see Hassan one last time on his deathbed. Over the next few days, Corrie fans will have to stay tuned to see how long she can keep the deception up for.
Next week, Rana thinks she has the perfect chance to grow closer to Saira again when she’s invited to join her on a six-week cruise.
Kate (Faye Brookes) is horrified by Rana’s plans and warns that it could be the end of their relationship if the trip goes ahead. But will Rana listen?
“Imran’s mum tries to persuade him to join her on a six week cruise. But he asks Kate to suggest it to Rana, claiming it could build bridges between them,” a spoiler post on Coronation Street‘s official website read.
“Kate flatly refuses, pointing out that Imran is trying to get out of it himself.
“Later, Kate gives Rana an ultimatum – if she goes on the cruise, she won’t wait for her. What will Rana do?”
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
