Coronation Street is about to lose yet another of its most beloved faces on the ITV soap.
Kirk Sutherland (played by Andrew Whyment) has discovered he has a talent for singing.
He put on a show for the audience at the Rovers’ Return and it seemed they were in awe over his stunning voice.
What’s more, he decides he should pursue his dream of being a world-famous singer but Beth Tinker (Lisa George) isn’t happy with his plan.
In the coming week, Kirk pretends to be mad at his lover so she thinks he is annoyed with her.
But the crafty resident is actually planning a generous surprise, and he gets Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) in on the act.
Kirk reveals he has penned a song for Beth and decides to perform it for her outside of the pub.
She is undoubtedly head-over-heels in love with him and can’t resist he sweet move.
However, they don’t have long to reconcile and they are separated as Kirk makes his way on his tour.
Will there be success on the horizon for the singer? And will he come back to whisk Beth away?
Elsewhere on the Cobbles, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) made his way back to Coronation Street today.
The hunky resident has been away from Weatherfield for three months following Eva Price’s (Catherine Tyldesley) exit.
He arrived back this evening in a taxi and he certainly got viewers’ pulses racing with his longer hairstyle.
One tweeted: “You always knew how to make an entrance Adam but welcome back hello sir.”
Another added: “Adam looks glowing.”
A third shared: “Adam looks verrrry different!”
A fourth commented: “Thank God, Adam Barlow is back.”
Adam is about to strike up a romance with Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), but it seems her ex won’t be happy.
Gary Windass (Mikey North) doesn’t like to lose and he will no doubt have something to say about it when he sees they’re an item.
Coronation Street continues Monday on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
