CORONATION Street fans were baffled after watching Sarah Platt get behind the wheel in last night's show.
The character, played by Tina O'Brien, got in the car to follow boyfriend Gary Windass after suspecting he was cheating.
But viewers pointed out the character – who was born onscreen in 1987 – has never learned to drive and has never been seen driving before.
They also wondered where she kept her vehicle as cars are really seen in Weatherfield.
Others were baffled as to how Sarah and boyfriend Gary could afford their Volkswagen Golf as they're always struggling for money.
One viewer questioned: "Since when did Sarah a) drive; b) own a Golf? #corrie."

Another quizzed: "Sarah and Gary never have any money but they have a VW??? #Corrie."
A third wrote: "@itvcorrie @tinaob So where did Sarah get the car exactly 2 b able 2 follow Gary around #MikeyNorth #Corrie."
A further asked: "Where do the characters of Corrie keep all these cars that they drive around when needed #Corrie."
The blunder comes just a week after the soap suffered another gaffe that saw Sarah's pal Maria Connor tell pals "nobody had put a ring on it" – despite the character being married twice and engaged another four times.
Sarah was in the car to follow boyfriend Gary around after noticing he was acting suspiciously.
The mum-of-three feared he was having an affair after spotting him leaving an unknown house.
But Sarah has jumped to the wrong conclusion as Gary is actually trying his luck as a debt collector and was roughing up an client that owed him.
