CHLOE Ferry was on the brink of tears last night after learning ex Sam Gowland had been "messaging girls" but she was in much better spirits today – and it was all thanks to her mum.
The 23-year-old Geordie Shore favourite got handed an enormous bunch of flowers by her mother when she returned back at her Newcastle home ahead of her salon launch tonight.
A giddy Chloe insisted she was going to get stuck into the booze at the party in the wake of her break-up from 23-year-old Sam after 17 months as a couple.
She whooped: "I am very, very excited about tonight. Yes, I have got half my rollers in but I don't give a f**k.
"I feel very good and very positive. I can't wait for some champagne. Honestly, tonight it going to be a night to remember. There are lots of good things coming up. Yeah!"
A smiling Chloe paraded around outside her house this afternoon with the flowers, a giant balloon bearing the name of her new salon – and an enormous bottle of fizz.
It was a very different story last night, when Chloe told followers that girls had been sending her screenshots of her reality star ex sliding into their DMs.
She said: "I'm trying to put a brave face on and be happy because it's a very important day for us, and I'm getting people print screening and sending us DMs of Sam following girls already.
"We haven't been broke up 24 hours. I'm trying to have such a good time with my shop opening tomorrow but I've got people sending me s**t like that, I just don't want to see it."
Sources told The Sun yesterday that the pair had split after rows over money and their careers, explaining: "Sam got jealous that Chloe’s career was taking off and his wasn’t quite as hot.
"They’d constantly row about work. He wanted to make as much money as he could and retire in two years time, so was constantly looking for ways to monetise their relationship. Chloe just got sick of it and ended it."
The hunk met Chloe when he joined the cast of MTV reality show Geordie Shore, and moved in together after denying a split last October.
