Catherine Tyldesley drops a huge hint she's going on Strictly Come Dancing 2019 as she says she 'might pop up' on next year's show

The 35-year-old admitted she was a massive fan of the show and said that she 'might pop up at some point' during a recent interview.

Speaking to HELLO! Magazine about the prospect of appearing on the show, she said: "I'm such a fan. At some point I would love to do it.

It seems that her parents are keen for her to get on the show soon too, after she responded to a comment on social media telling her to partner up with Strictly pro Aljaž Škorjanec.

She joked: "I'm on it dad!! Promise! Cheers mum xxx (sic)."

This isn't the first time that the actress, who shot to fame as Eva Price in Coronation Street, has fuelled speculation about appearing on the dance competition either, as she appeared on the latest series in November to read out the terms and conditions alongside Claudia Winkleman.

During her appearance she admitted that she 'can't dance', but then set tongues wagging when she showcased jazz hands and showed off some dance moves.

Since leaving Coronation Street earlier this year, the actress has tried her hand at modelling and a few other projects, although has vowed to focus on her family and do some more travelling.

However, it seems that despite ditching the cobbles in search of something else she isn't keen to get involved with all of the reality shows on offer like some of her former co-stars who left the soap before her and only has Strictly on her agenda.

Speaking to OK! Magazine following her departure from the soap, she admitted: "I don’t watch much reality TV but the one show I do watch is Strictly Come Dancing.

"I adore it. That’s the only one I would possibly do."
