Caroline Flack news: ITV says they ‘constantly’ offered Love Island host help

Love Island host and Strictly Come Dancing winner 2014 Caroline Flack was found dead this weekend, and this morning, on Good Morning Britain, presenter Richard Madeley spoke about the help ITV had offered the television star after legal proceedings.

Turning to the camera, Richard told viewers: “I’ve got to say one thing ITV have asked us to make it clear because there has been some discussion about it.

“That they did keep in close contact with Caroline since this incident, this domestic incident and they were constantly offering her assistance and help, and they want us to make that clear on this programme.”

Richard was referring to the incident which happened before Christmas in which Caroline was charged over an attack on boyfriend Lewis Barton.

The television star denied assaulting Lewis at her home in north London back in December. However, the court heard her partner suffered a “significant head injury” in the flat, and was seen covered in blood.
