The 57-year-old, who used to date an astronaut, made the saucy revelation as she appeared on Loose Women today.
She said: “I would like to go to space and do naughty things in space.”
Nadia Sawalha then interjected: “Basically she wants to be the first person to have sex in space!”
Carol quickly fired back: “Not by myself!”
Jane Moore then asked if it would be possible with gravity and Carol told her: “That’s what we are debating now.”
The star then opened up about her current relationship status – revealing she is currently single but dating.
She said: “I have not got a new man. I had the best first date ever.
“It was surreal and he’s an amazing person and he’s not British and he’s not famous.”
Earlier this year Carol revealed she was enjoying dating a string of toyboys and she wasn’t looking for a keeper.
She said: “Not everyone is looking for a keeper, and that's the point really. Some are… I'm not.”
"Surprise surprise! I'm not at all.
"I couldn't think of anything worse at the moment to be perfectly honest.
Carol was last linked to tattooed builder Cas Neill, 49, when the pair attended a black tie gala hosted by Princess Anne last year.
The romance followed her break-up from on-off toyboy lover Graham "Duffy" Duff, who is 14 years her junior.
