CARDI B and her husband Offset welcomed their second child together.
The rapper revealed the news by sharing an adorable first photo of the baby.
The 28-year-old took to Instagram on Monday to post of photo of herself and Offset, 29, in the hospital with the newborn.
Cardi cradled the baby, while Offset cuddled close to his wife as he looked at their child.
The rapper simply captioned the post with the baby's birthdate, which was September 4, 2021.
She also included emojis of a dinosaur, a blue heart and a teddy bear.
While she announced the baby's birthdate, Cardi has not yet revealed the name of the family's newest addition.
The rapper also hasn't announced the baby's gender.
However, fans believed Cardi welcomed a baby boy after many noticed that the newborn was wrapped in a blue blanket while in the hospital
Fans rushed to the comments section to congratulate the new parents, as many left heart emojis in response to the post.
One Instagram user called them a "beautiful family," with another added: "Awwww omgggggg congratulations 😢💙💙💙"
BABY NUMBER TWO
The WAP rapper announced her second pregnancy in June at the BET Awards.
The big reveal came during a surprise performance with Offset and his group Migos.
Cardi also took to Instagram to officially announce the news.
The "Up" rapper captioned a baby bump picture: “#2! ♥️” and tagging Offset.
At the time, TMZ estimated that she could be at least 6 months pregnant.
However, Cardi never revealed how far along she was in her pregnancy.
Cardi previously announced she was pregnant with her first child- three-year-old daughter Kulture- when she debuted her baby bump on Saturday Night Live.
She shares both of her children with Offset, who she married in 2017.
OPEN BOOK
Cardi has been open with fans about her second pregnancy, as she regularly showed off her baby bump on social media.
During a past interview with People, Cardi spoke further about being a mom once again, saying: "There is something so dear about this pregnancy and I feel like I’m starting a new chapter, and I’m happy about that."
The Bronx rapper revealed that once news was confirmed with a pregnancy test: "We (Offset and Cardi) just started laughing like, ‘Lord, we have so much to do.'"
Back in July, Cardi took to Twitter to share an interesting visual as she updated fans on how her pregnancy was going.
Alongside upset emojis, the rapper wrote: “F**k my face is spreading. B***h I look like a yam.”
