Big Brother 2018 unveils its civilian housemates and a twist that gets YOU involved in first-look trailer

The Celebrity Big Brother house may be emptying out its famous faces, but there’s a whole new group of people moving into the nation’s most famous house this Friday night for Big Brother 2018.

Fans got the briefest of previews of the all-new civilian housemates last Friday night, but they got a real introduction as part of Monday’s CBB grand finale. Their names and faces still haven’t been revealed, but their introductions definitely made them seem lively!

One of them will also be getting a very special power based on a viewer vote, so pay special attention to the teaser below:

The civilian contestants were all sequestered last Friday and they’ve spent the last several days completely isolated from the outside world as they get ready to enter the Big Brother house in just four days’ time.

It remains to be seen whether this will be the last-ever series of Big Brother, since Channel 5 boss Ben Frow recently said he was “planning for a year” without the show in 2019.

One fan-favourite that fans shouldn’t expect to see crossing over from the Celebrity series is taskmaster Wendy the Washing Machine, who told Digital Spy in an exclusive interview that she’s now off for an overdue holiday.

“I’m actually off on me hollibobs for a well deserved break,” Wendy boasted.

Big Brother will be launching this Friday night (September 14) at 9pm on Channel 5, followed by Rylan Clark-Neal with the return of Bit on the Side at 11pm.
