In a swipe at their ITVBE reality rivals, the social media star told The Sun Online their offering was “more real” than Towie.
Since it started last month, Absolutely Ascot has built up a star-studded following – with Vicky Pattison among celebs who’ve admitted they’re obsessed with the show.
Now the final instalment of the show has aired and Leah thinks it deserves a second outing on our screens.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun Online, Leah said: “I would love for Absolutely Ascot to get a second series. It would be a dream come true.
“Absolutely Ascot is an amazing show and has given people a real insight into what our lives are like.
“I definitely think it’s better than Towie. Nothing is set up for the cameras.
“What you see is what you get and that’s what makes Absolutely Ascot so amazing to watch. It is all real.”
The series had mixed reviews from locals, who even campaigned to have the ITVBE show change its name.
It was this petition which saw Leah’s co-star Samson Lee Smith give an emotional interview about how he believed their judgement was an act of “acceptable racism”.
Samson, who was born into the gypsy and traveller community, said Absolutely Ascot gave him a voice he hadn’t had before.
He explained: “Racism towards gypsies and travellers is one of the only, if not the only, acceptable form of racism in modern day culture.
“The petition to get the show renamed is because there are gypsies associated with the area.
“I think it's an underlying race issue.”
