Subscribers of Sony's online Playstation Plus service are in for a treat this week, as the monthly free games for September have just been revealed.
From today, Playstation 4 owners can download bloodthirsty assassin sim Hitman 2 and survival shooter Predator: Hunting Grounds for free via their Playstation homepages. If you haven't got a PS Plus subscription, you can sign up for £50 per year or £6.99 per month.
Owners of the elusive PS5 can pick up the manic restaurant team game, Overcooked: All You Can Eat. Players work together to deliver increasingly bonkers food orders in unusual restaurant settings such as moving trains, waterfalls, and swamps.

'Essential Picks' Playstation sale – what to buy
Over on the Playstation Store, there's also an amazing sale on right now. 'Essential Picks' has tons of AAA games on offer, some of which have dipped below the £50 mark for the first in months.
Rockstar classic Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Edition is on sale for a bumper £12.59, down from its usual £29.99. And its sister game Red Dead Redemption II – which usually retails at a whopping £59.99 – has had 59% of its price lopped off and can be picked up for just £22.50.
Meanwhile, the remastered version of the beloved Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 games can be nabbed for under £30. The games were recreated entirely in HD for next-gen consoles after years of fan demand.

Fans of co-op games should definitely check out It Takes Two which is on sale for £26. It only came out a few months ago and was made by the developers behind co-op prison break thriller, A Way Out.
Beyond that, No Man's Sky seems to keep pushing the envelope and releasing massive updates. This month, it has just launched an update to its Frontiers mode which will see Star Wars-like alien settlements added to its infinite in-game universe. If you weren't convinced by its buggy release, it could be time to revisit it as the game is on sale for £20 on the PS Store.
