After what feels like forever waiting, the Nintendo Switch Lite is now finally available for pre-order in the UK.
The Japanese tech company is selling the brand new edition of their famous handheld console for £199.99, which although not cheap per se, is drastically cheaper than the original, which sells for £279.99.
Coming in three fancy new colours (yellow, grey and turquoise), the likes of Amazon, Smyths, GAME and go2games have all already launched the pre-orders for the new console, all for the same £199.99 price tag.
However, by opting for the Lite version and its reduced price tag, you will miss out on a few features…
Firstly, unlike the original Switch, you won't be able to plug the Switch Lite into your telly, so you'll need to be content with only ever playing it as a portable handheld console.
But if you're okay with that, there's no shortage of gaming options, with the Lite version supporting all of the ones that are available on the main Switch.
If you do pre-order yours now, you'll get it on September 20.
The design is also slightly different this time round, although mostly due to the fact that this is solely a handheld device.
For example, on the Nintendo Switch Lite, the buttons and joysticks are built directly into the body of the device – and can't be removed, whereas in the original version you can detach them for wireless use.
