This can be accomplished via email or uploaded directly to the cloud.
Email is a straightforward process that will send the WhatsApp chat to your inbox.
However, this can take some time to upload and big files will sometimes not work.
Uploading to Dropbox is a bit more complex than email if you want to download or email the file, but the system works well.
Google Drive is another option, although the google drive app will need to first be installed on your iPhone.
How to use WhatsApp Export Chat on Android:
Unfortunately the WhatsApp export with Android has some limitations, as the only method to export the chat is via email.
The cloud storage options from iPhone are not available.
This renders it harder to export all WhatsApp messages and media.
There are two options available, if you export your chat with or without media files: with or without the related media.
A maximum of the last 10,000 messages are theoretically capable of being sent.
However, if you have a number of videos or images, the number of exported messages could be significantly smaller.
But a maximum of the last 40,000 messages are sent when exporting WhatsApp chat without media files.
Unfortunately, the resulting text file will only contain a note a where a picture, video or audio note was not exported.
