Virgin has also announced ‘Boosted bundles’ which will let existing customers add a mobile SIM to their current broadband bundle. You get a choice of a 2GB, 5GB, 15GB or 50GB data allowance.
It’s called a boosted bundle because Virgin will also give your home broadband a boost as part of the package – from 50Mbps to 100Mbps, for example.
Lastly, there’s something called ‘Personal picks’ which lets TV viewers pick and choose additional channels to add to their current bundles. You get to add one ‘Pick’ to your existing bundle for £10 a month with each subsequent Pick costing £7 per month. The Picks can be changed every month if you fancy something different.
