Tinder users are facing a frustrating evening with the app and website currently down and not working.
To add to the misery it also appears that those using the service can’t find their matches or previous conversations with many complaining that they have disappeared.
The issues appear to have begun at around 10pm tonight with Down Detector, which monitors web outages across the world, showing hundreds of reports.
Problems have been seen throughout the whole of Europe with UK fans also suffering from the outage.
Users of the app have flooded social media with one saying: “Hi @Tinder @TinderSupport your app died so I logged out and back in and now I have lost every single match and conversation I was having.”
And another added: “@Tinder your app is down and it only allows message notifications to come through but everyone I was talking to is wiped!!!!!”
There’s no word on what’s caused the problems or when those who access the service will see things return to normal.
This isn’t the first time that gremlins have hit the dating service with a similar issue hitting users earlier this year.
In a post on the Tinder website, addressing when this occurred previously to one user, the dating app offered advice.
They simply advised that an affected user’s first port of call should be to log out of Tinder and then log back in.
Responding to the question ‘all of my matches disappeared’ in a help page, Tinder said: “This may be temporary, so please try again at a later time.
“If the issue persists, try logging out and logging back in. Tap the icon on the top left-hand corner of the main screen > Settings > Logout.
“As long as you haven’t accidentally deleted your account you should be fine!”
