Black Friday is on Friday 24 November but that hasn’t stopped UK tech retailers from getting their deals fired up a week early.
Express.co.uk is on the hunt for the best tech deals, and this MacBook Air saving might be one of the best straight out of the gate.
Apple rarely discounts its products, opting instead to give out Apple vouchers on Black Friday if you buy something. That’s not the case with Currys, Amazon, and Very though – all three are offering the 2020 MacBook Air for just £799, a saving of £200.

Very says this offer price will end on 23 November, so that gives you less than a week to snap up this top-tier laptop for £200 less than it usually costs.
Express.co.uk’s technology editor Dave Snelling reviewed this very model of MacBook Air, and gave it a rare five-star award, saying it “demonstrates what the next generation of laptops will be capable of, thanks to the fast loading times and better battery life.”
He noticed that he had “had some complaints in the past about Apple MacBook’s feeling the heat, but the new Air has stayed very cool on our lap despite being put through some memory-munching tasks.”
“The new M1-powered MacBook Air is an absolute joy to use and there’s another bonus of this processor as its far more efficient,” he said at the time. “In fact, Apple has even been able to ditch the fan from inside the Air, which means your meetings won’t be interrupted by the whirl of the cooling system.”
