OnePlus 7 is the expected name for the Chinese tech giant’s newest flagship that will succeed the OnePlus 6T.
Ahead of its much-awaited debut, the OnePlus 7 appears to have been plagued by leaks that may have outed some of its biggest new features.
One of the most notable of these surfaced courtesy of Pricebaba and OnLeaks that jointly produced alleged 3D renders for the hardware.
OnePlus 7 was displayed with what was said to be a 6.5-inch display that had no notch and incredibly small borders surrounding it.
The Chinese handset was shown to achieve the all-screen look thanks to a pop-up selfie camera at the top of its aluminium frame.
Such a design choice is similar to that already seen in phones from Chinese rivals such as OPPO and Vivo.
The alleged OnePlus 7 was shown to have three cameras on its rear as opposed to the dual-system present on the OnePlus 6T.
In an article detailing the renders, Pricebaba did not discuss what the function of the new lens could be.
However, if the images are accurate it appears OnePlus could be gearing up to present Android fans with a significant photography upgrade.
Lastly, the device was said to have a 4,150mAh cell that could deliver all-day life for owners.
At the time only a single OnePlus 7 model was discussed, however a new rumour has insisted the hardware could come in multiple variants.
Teenage tipster Ishan Agarwal recently took to Twitter and declared a whopping three models of the OnePlus 7 could be coming.
In addition to the standard OnePlus 7, Agarwal said two other devices dubbed the “OnePlus 7 Pro” and “OnePlus 7 Pro 5G” will also be released.
Additionally, he also posted alleged images of the OnePlus 7 Pro that first appeared on Weibo that may have outed a deluge of its specs.
One of the images had the phone’s claimed specification sheet loaded up that said it had a “Super Optic” 6.67-inch display, a triple-camera system and was powered by Qualcomm’s new flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset.
OnePlus 7 Pro’s new camera array was said to be comprised of a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 16-megapixel module and an 8-megapixel lens.
Moreover, the particular model in question was stated to have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Most recently Agarwal has taken to Twitter to “confirm” the release date of the OnePlus 7, potentially offering fans of the firm the news they have been waiting for.
The teenage leaker has claimed the OnePlus 7 will release in May and will have the tag line “Go Beyond Speed”.
Additionally, Agarwal also re-emphasised the more premium version of the OnePlus 7 will be called the “OnePlus 7 Pro”.
If the new claims from the tipster are accurate, it means OnePlus could take the wraps off its new flagship in less than a month.
However, it is worth noting the Shenzhen-based firm has not confirmed any details about its next device.
