If you’re trying and failing to check your Instagram feed then you are not the only ones.
The social media app is currently down and not working for thousands of users.
Reports of the outage first started appearing around 9pm tonight with the gremlins still ongoing.
Independent outage monitor Downdetector has registered over 1,100 reports at one time from Instagram fans insisting it’s not working properly.
As you’d expect, users have migrated to Twitter to express their disappointment at the outage.
Speaking on the rival social network one user said: “Just me or Instagram is down?”
Whilst another added: “Instagram is starting to become trash now….algorithms all over the place, always crashing/down, etc”
There’s no word on what is causing the issues or when it will be back online.
