Huawei’s event today wasn’t just about its new Mate 30 series of smartphones – it focused heavily on a plethora of other gadgetry the Chinese firm has been working on.
One such device is the Huawei Watch GT 2 that appears set to fiercely rival Samsung’s Galaxy Watch series with its huge array of features.
Huawei Watch GT 2 comes in 46 millimetre and 42 millimetre case sizes and a variety of finishes.
The hardware comes in two styles – one with a traditional bezel around its display and another without.
Powering the wearable is Huawei’s new Kirin A1 chipset that was first unveiled at German trade show IFA earlier this month.
The Chinese tech giant has declared the chipset should allow the Watch GT 2 to deliver faster performance while still delivering laudable battery life.
In fact, Huawei is claiming the product can last up to two weeks on a single charge.
