After weeks of waiting the new Galaxy S20 range will finally land in stores from tomorrow, March 13. These all-new Samsung flagships arrive with plenty of bonus features such as an improved camera, faster 120Hz display and bigger batteries.
If you opt for the most expensive Galaxy S20 Ultra you’ll also find a quad-rear snapper which now includes an impressive 100X Space Zoom for the ultimate close up.
Other upgrades include a faster processor and the inclusion of 5G network technology in all but one of these Galaxy phones.
These specs sound very nice on paper but there is a high price to pay if you fancy squeezing one of these latest and greatest phones in your pocket.
The standard, non-5G, S20 costs £799 but this price rockets to a staggering £1,399 for the fully-loaded S20 Ultra with 512GB of memory.
Things aren’t much better on contract with prices for the basic S20 starting from £22 with a £399 upfront fee.

That’s all pretty pricey but whilst the S20 gets all the headlines there is a much cheaper option.
With the Galaxy S10 now about to be superseded, prices for this device have plummeted making it a very attractive option.
You can currently grab and S10 for just £669 SIM-free or get it on contract for £23 per month with a much lower upfront cost.

Although the S10 clearly doesn’t have all the features you’ll find on the S20 it is still a very accomplished smartphone that now offers some serious value for money.
If you really think you need the 120Hz screen, 5G speeds and a more powerful processor then clearly the S20 is worth a look but buying the S10 will save you at least £150.
That’s quite a saving for a phone that’s still got plenty going for it.
