Amazon is offering three months worth of Music Unlimited access for free. The Spotify and Apple Music rival has a huge library of 100million songs, which can be listened to in lossless (aka CD quality) audio. Amazon usually only offers one month free trials so if you’ve been thinking of trying out the service for awhile now is the perfect time.

Amazon is no stranger to dishing out free subscriptions to its Music service but these joining deals only usually last for 30 days. That’s why this latest offer appears so enticing.

For those not already aware, Amazon Music Unlimited is very similar to rivals such as Spotify and Apple Music with it offering millions of songs that can all be streamed to popular devices such as smartphones or Echo speakers. There’s also no annoying adverts to listen to and no limit on how many times you can skip through playlists or albums.

The service also promises to offer music in stunning HD at no extra cost plus users can download songs onto their devices. This means tunes can be played when offline and is also ideal for anyone who has limited data each month.

Three months for free is a good deal but the only thing you must be aware of is that once the initial period has finished you will then be charged £10.99 per month (Prime members can get it for £8.99). As a comparison, Spotify charges its users £9.99 and Apple Music’s standard plan is also £10.99.

It’s worth noting that both of these providers currently offer one month for free.

News of this deal from Amazon comes as Apple has just announced a new way to listen to music. The US tech firm has launched a service called Apple Music Classical which is a standalone app designed specifically for classical music.

Apple is boasting that its Music Classical service makes it quick and easy to find any recording in the world’s largest classical music catalogue with fully optimised search.

Users will also be able to enjoy the highest audio quality available and experience tracks in immersive spatial audio which makes the sound appear to hit your ears from all directions.

Apple Music Classical will be available to Apple Music subscribers as part of their existing subscription at no additional cost.
