According to reports, TF International Securities’ renowned Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo is noting that the first day for the iPhone 12 greatly exceeded the amount of pre-order the iPhone 11 saw.
As outlined in a report by Kuo, the Apple iPhone 12 sold about 1.7 to 2 million units in the first 24 hours of pre-orders which eclipsed the 500,000-800,000 units of advanced sales for the previous model. Though it is important to note that the total pre-sale of the iPhone 12 was 9 million units, which is slightly less than the 12 million total pre-orders for the iPhone 11. Rounding up his report, Kuo broke down his prediction for total sales split between the four models included in the latest flagship line once the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max are released.
Check out Ming Chi-Kuo predictions for the iPhone 12 sales split below.
